What happens during your consultation
A consultation begins with a personalized assessment of your hair removal goals and a review of relevant medical history or past treatments. Our provider examines the treatment area, discusses expectations and safety considerations, and answers questions. Clients consistently note a knowledgeable, friendly approach and a smooth process from booking through consultation and any follow-up planning.
This visit is primarily informational: we explain available options, outline what a tailored plan would include, and discuss timing. The consultation lets you compare trade-offs — such as the commitment of multiple visits and seasonal considerations — so you can decide if and when to start a plan that fits your schedule and lifestyle.
How treatment decisions are made
Decisions are shaped by practical factors discussed during the consultation: your goals, the appearance of hair and skin in the treatment area, prior hair-removal methods, and lifestyle constraints. The provider balances these elements to recommend a course of action focused on safety and realistic expectations rather than guaranteed outcomes, and will explain how recommended timing fits your calendar.
Seasonality and scheduling matter. Because treatments require avoiding sun exposure between sessions, fall and winter starts are common; Lumiere Medspa sees higher demand in October, January and February. We’ll review how a multi-visit plan spreads over months and fit appointments to your commuting and family needs in Arlington Heights and nearby communities.
Local scheduling and logistics
Consultations at our Rand Road location near Downtown Arlington Heights are designed to be convenient for commuters and families. The consultation fee is $50 and sessions last 30 minutes, giving time for assessment and planning without a long visit. We serve clients from Mount Prospect, Des Plaines, Palatine and other nearby suburbs, and welcome questions about timing and travel logistics.
Appointments after school and in the evening suit busy professionals and parents, and the clinic is a short drive from I-90 and walkable from the Arlington Heights Metra station. Many clients combine a visit with downtown shopping or dinner. If you prefer quieter months, consider scheduling outside our busiest times of January, February and October.
