During Treatment
Treatment typically takes 30-60 minutes depending on the areas treated. We'll cleanse and mark the treatment areas, apply topical numbing if desired, then use precise injection techniques to deliver the biostimulator. Radiesse provides immediate volume, while Sculptra works gradually over time.
Post-Treatment
Radiesse: Immediate results with mild swelling and bruising that resolves within 3-7 days. Results continue to improve as collagen builds over 3-6 months. Lasts 12-18+ months.
Sculptra: Gradual results develop over 3-6 months as collagen production increases. Mild swelling for 2-3 days. Requires 2-3 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Results last up to 2+ years.
Important: For Sculptra, massage treated areas 5 times daily for 5 minutes for 5 days (the "Rule of 5s") to ensure even distribution.
